- Copyright notices can be submitted through our website contact.
- We review valid notices and act on them.
- Orders from repeat infringers may be refused.
Respect for copyright
Our clients are required to own or hold the rights to the images they submit, as set out in our Image Rights Policy. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with applicable law, including the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Reporting infringement
If you believe that content handled by us infringes a copyright you own or control, please send a written notice, through the contact details provided on our website, that includes:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it
- Your contact information so we can reach you
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner, or authorised to act for the owner, of the right concerned
- Your physical or electronic signature
Our response
On receiving a valid notice, we will review it and may remove or stop using the material in question and contact the relevant user. We may also share your notice with the user who submitted the material.
Counter-notification
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice through the contact details on our website. It should identify the material, state under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error, provide your contact information, and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
Repeat infringers
We may decline to provide services to, and may terminate the orders of, users who repeatedly submit infringing material.
No legal advice, changes and contact
This policy is provided for general information and is not legal advice. We may update it from time to time; the current version is on the website. Notices and counter-notices may be sent to our designated contact through the details provided on our website.
